WHAT IS OSTEOPATHY?

OSTEOPATHY EXPLAINED

Harper Road Osteopaths in London Bridge provide safe, effective treatment and care that aims to promote the health of patients. Using a combination of manual therapy, health advice and exercise, our London-based osteopaths tailor treatment to the needs of the individual. People of all ages and from all walks of life see osteopaths; from babies and pregnant people to the elderly, from musicians to sports people.

As highly trained and regulated healthcare professionals, we are experts in the musculoskeletal (MSK) system – that is the muscles, joints and associated tissues and their relationship with other systems of the body.

Although osteopaths are best known for treating neck and back pain, we are also skilled at treating many other conditions. These include; shoulder pain, hip & knee pain, arthritis, headaches arising from musculoskeletal issues and much more.

I have had treatment from Louisa several times and she always helps with the aches and pains I experience as a spin teacher. Louisa listens thoughtfully and tailors her treatment to my specific body and needs, something I've rarely experienced in healthcare settings and which makes me feel so comfortable and safe. She is kind and highly skilled. As a queer and non binary person I also very much appreciate the safe space she creates. Thank you Lou!

Very nice practice, easy to reach from London Bridge. I saw Louisa for a treatment and it was excellent. Louisa is very knowledgable, caring, attentive and empathetic. She takes a holistic approach and I felt so much better afterwards. I can absolutely recommend her!

I always look forward to my visits with Caroline, not only is she kind and a good listener but she consistently manages to find the root of my back aches and pains. When she has worked her magic, I leave feeling supple and perhaps a little taller.

I've been seeing Caroline for Perrin technique treatment since August 2022 after developing long covid. She's been amazing, understanding, and very accommodating. I could not have gotten back to my normal self without her help. Thank you, Caroline! 🙂

Louisa from Harper Osteopathy has been fantastic in dealing with my back pain from a previous health issue and post-partum. With each session she works on “stretching” and diminishing tension from the affected areas, helping me gain back confidence towards a healthy back and lifestyle.
